Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how turningline.com/ ("Turningline," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the website at turningline.com/ and related tools and pages (the "Service"). Turningline is designed to be privacy-respecting: it does not require you to create an account, and it is not designed to store the documents, prompts, or personal content you work with.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to tools. When you use a tool, you may type text, prompts, or other inputs. Where a feature sends your input to a third-party AI provider to produce a result, that input is transmitted to and processed by that provider in order to return a response. We do not use these inputs to build a profile of you, and the Service is not designed to retain them in our database after your request is handled.
Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and network infrastructure may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, referring pages, and the date and time of requests. We use a one-way hashed (irreversible) form of your IP address to enforce free-usage and rate limits and to protect the Service from abuse.
Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not submit sensitive personal data (such as health, financial, or government-identifier information) into the tools. Remove personal information from documents and images where possible before using AI tools.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to return results you request from tools; to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse; to understand general traffic and performance; and to comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
The Service depends on independent third-party providers, which may include AI model providers, image-generation providers, search and finance data providers, our web host, and a content-delivery and security network. When you use a feature that relies on a provider, relevant data (such as your prompt, or technical request data) is processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party tool you choose to use. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Retention
We aim to retain personal data for no longer than necessary. Rate-limit and abuse-prevention records (such as hashed identifiers and counters) are short-lived and expire automatically. Server and security logs maintained by our host or network provider are retained according to their standard practices. The Service is not designed to store your prompts, uploaded files, or generated content in our own database after a request is completed.
5. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use, or to object to certain processing. Residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and individuals in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (under the GDPR/UK GDPR) may have additional rights. Because we operate without accounts and do not build user profiles, the personal information we hold is limited. To make a request or ask a question, contact us at the address below. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Users
Turningline is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
